I just added it to my rogues picture gallery of counterfeits. Every once and a while I put together a presentation for the local club to show the members some of the bad stuff that is out there.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. Yup, bad cast fake. Good to know it has been pulled. Good high quality shot of a counterfeit though. Normally its a blurry or low quality picture to hide whst this picture obviously shows.
Although most CU forum members, including myself can immediately see that it's a counterfeit, I had the eBay newbie collector in mind when posting my comment.
