PNG member, numismatic dealer since 1965. Operates a retail store, also has exhibited at over 1000 shows. I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.
John P. Jensen, 83, of Cortlandt Manor, passed away on October 12, 2013. He was a Korean War Veteran and a retired Army Reservist. Mr. Jensen is survived by his son Jon, his daughter Susan and three grandchildren Nicole, Marc and Lindsey. Also surviving is his longtime companion Amy Denny. Friends and family may visit the funeral home on Thursday from 1-4 & 6-9pm. A Funeral Service will be on Friday at 10am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery in New Rochelle. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donatons to the VA in Montrose.
John Jensen was a dedicated collector and he was enthusiastic about sharing. Moreover, he devoted a great deal of time to coin clubs and was nice to everyone.
This is terrible news. He will be missed by many.
