Are there any States that are not represented by a Commemorative (classic or modern)?

If so, can you name one?

    New Hampshire?

    Idaho?

    Probably many others, I'd guess.
(not counting the state quarters, of course)

I think you HAVE to admit that Oregon is represented pretty well by the Oregon Trail half.

Also, Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida are all shown on the Spanish Trail half.

Doesn't the national parks 5 oz series of bullion account for all the states + territories?

Ok, it shows Washington State as having a commemorative.
    Which one is it?

I don't think the Oregon Trail counts. I would argue anything with George Washington, on a commemorative, doesn't count for the state.
So, which commem is for Wa State?

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

In the classic series there is one state that represented too much, New York. New Rochelle and Hudson? Please! Those things should have been town medals. The Hudson people compounded the problem by creating a scandal over the sale and distribution of the coins. The Albany should not have been issued, but at least it is the state capital.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

Most of the Oregon Trail wasn't in Oregon, so I would beg to differ.

    Please don't beg - it's unbecoming. image

While the trail obviously took its moniker from its destination rather than its route, in fact a significant portion fell within the bounds of what is today the State of Oregon.

You're half right. Not a coin, but certainly a commemorative:

Regarding Indiana. I have several of those medals and would not consider them commemoratives as the OP is asking about.

Bill - I agree, and you missed the 4th New York state commem Long Island. I live on LI and always found it strange I can make a round trip to
4 classic commem locations in one day. East coast bias and NY in general. But I do love the designs of the New Rochelle, Albany and Long Island.
The Hudson is a strange one.
