Question for the Group Regarding Our Lost Memebrs

Hey folks.

The Carl thread and my own health this last 2 years have made me wonder:
If I started a "Gone, but Never Forgotten" thread that we could memorialize all of our passed CU friends, large and small, without any comments of any kind as to avoid anything other than the good, would you add to it? Is there such a thread? I know we have other running threads - like the "show us who is behind the coin" or whatever. Just a thought. Maybe it is impractical or idealistic. But it would be a nice gesture for those great folks.

Eric

For the pool league I have been shooting in for several decades, our handbooks have a 'Remembering Members' page listing those who have passed.

It is nice to look at the list and remember the players from years past.

I think your idea is a good one, but it will be a bit of work to backfill the list.

I think that is a wonderful, and thoughful suggestion. I would be for it, for sure.

Excellent idea to memorialize lost Members.

Call me a pessimist (I prefer the term "realist"), but I'm pretty sure such a thread will eventually get off topic. They all do... image

It would be a nice thing... and we can ask a moderator to delete any off topic posts.... Cheers, RickO
