I bought two just for the reason mentioned, I already had two each of the other bars, with the exception of the kilo and 50oz bars.
Initially, before I had them in hand, I thought the look was nice, but in hand something looked a little off from how it looked online.
I think it could be that they blacken the seal for the pictures on the web site, providing a more contrasted look between the pressed Monarch seal and the bar itself, and that could be throwing it off for me.
Monarch's pricing tends to be a little on the higher side so I try, as best anyone can, to time my purchases around a discount offer and if possible a dip on the spot price.
The savings is small but it helps trim a little off of the premium.
All in all, I enjoy the two ounce size the most.

Let's see the Rolex
Seriously though, I'm not sure what I expected when I saw the black writting, I do not like any bullion "Colored". Thanks for the photo/size comparison.
On a side note... When I first saw the listing I thought 50 grams was a troy ounce... Looking it up I found that 50 grams equals 1.60753733 troy ounces. With spot at $21.99 that makes the melt value about $35.34 right? Hmmmm... Premium still a little high but if they are "Hand poured" they do deserve a premium.
I like them as a collectable as you mention rather than for the stack. Thanks for sharing.
