<< <i>I'm blaming Bobby for the last century or so of pathetic Cubs baseball too. >>

    Sounds about right.

Bobby, you weren't blamed for their mistake. You were blamed for your overreaction to their mistake. Instead of just saying "this doesn't look like a 1987 Fleer back to me", you titled the link "Fake Jordan", thus accusing Mile High of fraud. The accusation was obviously baseless and that's what got you criticized. I know you think people are too quick to blame you for stuff around here, and sometimes you're right about that, but the truth is that you brought this one all on yourself.

  • << <i>..and when I see one that doesn't look right, then I notice it.....your point?? Why must the same usual suspects attack me in every thread. I could offer each one of you (the usual suspects) a million dolalrs, and you would find a way to attack me about that as well....pathetic. >>

You can offer me a million dollars anytime. After the hookers and blow, I'd probably go buy up every Ryan RC Milton Bradley I could find.

I think Probstein just listed a fake 1952 Topps Mantle. The back just doesn't look right to me:

Does anyone think they would address the 1982 Ozzie Smith Game Used Jersey they have listed?

<< <i>The OP is very familiar with the Jordan rookie card, particularly the back, as he's made a small fortune flipping them over the years. In this old thread started by the OP he passes on some tips on the art of flipping Jordan rookies and customer service.

That was like a mutating virus, but it had some serious comedic value. In fact, if someone ever starts a "funniest thing you've ever read" thread, I know where I'm going with my vote. In the context of everything that was going on, nam's post on page 2 was oh so classic.

    That's a stretch.

By Tabe's definition, you just accused Rick Probstein of fraud.
