I will be there! Can't wait!

Told a few others about it and they will be going, probably at different times, though.

Just got back home from the show and running around. I sure hope these shows continue and attract other vendors as well as other buyers. I would like to say that Anthony (Griffins) (and everyone else involved) is doing a good job trying to get some shows started up again around here. It's refreshing to see...

I wasn't a major buyer today as there was very limited things that I was interested in. I met a few people and saw some familiar faces as well. Ran into MattyC (and brother) and also met Greg Morris (ebay: gregmorriscards). Think I saw Brian (captainthreeputt) and son across the way as well. Tim from Beckett was also there, very cool guy. He's the Western Sales Manager for Beckett. Lives about a quarter mile from me. Whenever I submit stuff to BGS, I definitely go through him.

Today I grabbed a raw 1967 Pete Rose Venezuela card. Couple of PSA 7-8 1971 cards that I needed, which included an Ernie Banks.

All in all, I did have fun. Will look forward to the next one.

    Justin

  • Came come from the show a few minutes ago.. Cool show, not a big spender but did score a Bowman's Best Peyton Manning RC and Brock Osweiler JSY RC for my Broncos collection. Spent total of $26 also came way w/ a 1993-94 Finest Jordan card, B-Chrome Randy Moss RC in bargain bins.

I couldn't make it this time. I have a week old son and can't exactly take off to a card show. But I certainly hope to catch the next one. Are they twice a year? Was there any vintage unopened? Any non-sport? What did I miss......

Thanks to everyone that came to the show today, and it was great seeing old friends and meeting a few new ones. Next show is tentatively scheduled for May, check the website or facebook page for details.

Not a lot of vintage unopened. I did pick up a 1979 Topps football grocery wax rack. Nonsport was pretty good. Mark Hellman was there with a ton of stuff, I grabbed some PSA 1965 Topps Battle cards for a great price. Bob Marcy was at the first one but couldn't make it this time. I expect him to be back at the next one in May and he's the nonsport king, always has tons of great stuff. A lot of great dealers have turned up each time.
