Over the last year silver had a 47% drop and a 38% rally. My bet would be on considerably less volatility over the next year. However a trading range from 20 to 25 would be quite welcomed.

per Santelli, many of the variables influencing the rise in 10-yr bond prices and the drop in the dollar over the past 3 months are economic fundamentals.

Carry on. Nothing to see here.

I like Santelli. His platform for tirades is very visible and he speaks a popular message. His commentary on the market and economy has been quite poor over the last 3 years though.

He's a no bullsh__ man ! I like him, too... What little I see of him through video streaming from AMTD's platform online, ... where I am partially divested and confused. image
  • Santelli is a bright guy. A little hard to follow at times and too many emotional tirades on camera. I don't need that just some plain and articulate analysis.

Hey, at least you got your answer. If you're planning to buy anyway, it's usually a good time right after a slam like this one.

If you like one, you should be okay with the other, they usually go in tandem . Although if you look at the drop today, gold was hit harder than silver, silver seemed to gain back a little at the end of the day. Probably more people jumped in and purchased silver today , where's gold they didn't.

I like both silver & gold (have lots more silver than gold) that being said, may need to get more "gold" as I'm running out of room in my safe!! image

Pulled the ripcode out after 7% gain on the USLV.
Was in it for about 4 hrs.
    No transaction costs.
Seen this scenario too many times not to ride it back up again.
    Feeling lucky, nothing more.
Hey, at least I posted when I did it/ bought in, not afterwards!
Both Au and Ag are offering oportunities with all the volutility.
Lord knows I've been on the elevator down at other times.
Trick is a quick in and out, never overnight it.

    Bold move.
Will you let us know when you sell it?
Better yet, post when you are going in.
It doesn't count unless you do that!

It's different than the early 80's, but ... it's so different that it's no different than it ever was.
    Floor : $18.75
    Ceiling : $24.15

What do you see in the next 3 years ?

don't be looking at silver, keep your eye on the dollar and events that affect it. Its future determines the future of PMs. Since 2000 it's always been about the dollar.

    ____ in 10 years_____

.....Yeah, remember the days when you could buy a Milky Way bar for $1.59?

Barely, but $10.00 doesn't seem too much now! I have to run. See you later.

    --- Where are you going?

I have to go to the bank to increase my open second mortgage $limit. I'll need to get gas
    in the car this afternoon!
