Guess This Jefferson Nickel!

BigDowgieBigDowgie Posts: 1,749 ✭✭✭✭
Not a Cherry Pick this time, which is a hint this is a variety, but for this coin it does not matter. It should be pretty easy to guess this one, even non-Jefferson folks?

These steps belong to this obverse.

Hint, the doubling in TRUST and the nose is not a bad photo!

It's a 1942, I can't see enough of the obverse to know which of the two big DDOs for the date you have, but I'll guess it's FS-102.

    Sean,

You got the year, but the wrong variety. This is a full step example of the FS-101 (FS-25)! Killer coin, early die state. I've got my bets on an MS65FS example! Not complaining, but this would have been the first full step FS-102.

This one will park quite nicely in my set!

PS - I'm a little disappointed in our Jefferson crew!
