For a Dan Carr creation the price is certainly fair.

Not buying these silver 5 cent 1 oz buffs. In a thread a few weeks ago in US Coins, D Carr mentioned that he might strike a gold version of this Buff round. If the gold version comes on the market, I might get one, depending on the premium and whether it will be limited mintage or not.
I just bought some. I figure at $3.75 over melt the downside risk is fairly low and they are quite neat looing.

I imagine they will be available soon on eBay; however, I don't think they will be very cheap.

Dan Carr aka The Moonlight Mint (www.dc-coin.com) is now selling these individually for $35. I'll let you decide if it's worth the premium over melt for what is essentially a really neat silver round.

go to "home" and then "clark gruber" tab, the individual one is toward the right.
I'm actually in for a roll and a half, since I need to buy some metal to rebalance some allocation percentages. I'll Porn Friday them when they get here
Go to www.moonlightmint.com. Go to "Shop By Category" and then go to "Clark, Gruber, and Bullion". They sell them individually and in bulk at $3.75 over melt with a minimum order of $500 with shipping at $25 for any quantity. Hope this helps.

EDIT: Do I have this right silver is right now $21.81, so a roll of 20 would be $536.20? >>
A roll of 20 would be 20 X (spot + $3.75) + $25 for shipping.

I'm guessing this is a plastic cylinder split lengthwise down the sides with one side hinged and the other side with some kind of latch.

that sounds about right, probably with little tab dividers on the inside, forming "slots" and keeping the coins apart.
Anyone order these and receive theirs yet? >>
I ordered mine a couple of weeks ago and I'm still waiting for delivery. The web site did say to allow two to three weeks for delivery.

Thanks Perry, and they're coming Registered so it will take that much longer depending and how far from Colorado and the quirks of the PO, looking forward to getting these..
don't like the image not covering the whole coin. While I like the image, it looks like a drink coaster.

I like the design with the proper sized buffalo nickel replica and bought a roll. The wide rim looks neat and frames the design nicely. If the design covered the whole planchet, it would look like all the other replica coin silver rounds.
