Over 100 listings coming from Britain
Violations include counterfeit plated coins and bars, listing plated bullion, listing copy coins that are not even marked copy. At least he's honest in his description but chances are his buyer will not be so honest when he reslists. All of his listing violate at least one ebay coin policy. Ebay does not allow plated bullion. This seller's items will be returning to ebay under new sellers for a long time to come. He is a root source of the problem, probably buying from China.
Simple ebay report form, list up to 10 items (same violation) separated by comma and a space

He knows, that's all that matters.
<< <i>Using my attached report form will get them to ebay's Judith who has acted on UK listings for me in the past. Maybe she has a counterpart in the UK she deals with or maybe she has the power to nuke 'em. Mentioning in the report that he has a very large number of listing violations will probably help. The word counterfeit also motivates ebay. >>
Judith is the only person left in ccw & she doesn't work on weekends. Again, good luck.

There is a link about half-way down on the right side, beneath and to the right of the "eBay Buyer Protection" shield. From there you're asked why this item should be reported from a series of pull down menus. I chose:
Report Category
Prohibited and restricted items
Reason for Report
Stamps, Currency, and Coins
Detailed Reason
Replica Coins, replica paper money, and replica stamps
From there you just hit enter and verify the auction number.

<< <i>FWIW, reporting an item is simple.

This one is much, much simpler.
Requires only an item number and policy violation. Up to ten item numbers can be given (separated by a comma and a space) provided they all have the same policy violation entered into the description. The up to ten items do not even have to be from the same seller. If a seller has more than ten violations, I usually give a couple of his item numbers and make a comment in the violation block "many other similar violations by this seller."
Unlike the standard reporting method you outline above, this method has no drop down boxes to choose from and this form goes directly to a coin, currency and stamp specialist (familiar with ebay's policies) for action. If that specialist needs further guidance on making a decision, he/she has direct contact with ebay's Coin Watch Group made up of numismatic professionals who provide further guidance on the reported violation.
This link is hard to find, I keep it saved in my "Ebay" folder as a favorite.

<< <i>I thought eBay was no longer allowing pictures with advertising in it either, like the way this seller has *sellz*it* at the bottom of every picture? That's another violation. >>
Not a violation, but an option when listing your item directly from eBay's site. All of my auctions have my eBay i.d. on the bottom of my scans. Not sure if it is available if you use Turbo Lister or some other Lister. It eliminates the "stolen scan" problem.

<< <i>Once again, no action so far by ccw. I suspect it's legal in the UK to sell this junk as long as the description indicates it's plated and not solid gold. >>
I believe ebay coin, currency and stamp policy applies to all ebay listings. And if not, as a minimum applies to ebay US listings such as this seller's listings regardless of where they originate.
From the coin policy:
Replica coins aren't allowed.
Replica, plated, or clad bullion isn't allowed.
You can list gold-plated jewelry and other items sold for scrap within the Coins & Paper Money > Bullion > Gold > Scrap and Recovered Gold category, if they are accurately described.
I am surprised there has been no action taken on these listings.

No one is disputing the above review. However, I suspect it does not apply to non U.S. based sellers, even when they ship "worldwide."

<< <i>I reported his plated US gold eagles as counterfeit. Can't see where that would be allowed regardless of where they are being sold from. >>
I did the same several days ago...weeks ago...month ago...years ago.

and reported the K'Rands & AGE's....one at a time
let's see if that does any good.

Reported all his plated bullion there as well:
EBay UK prohibited coin items:
Replica coins
Replica, plated or clad bullion
Counterfeit coins
Counterfeit banknotes
Novelty banknotes
Counterfeit bonds
Counterfeit money orders
Counterfeit securities
Equipment used to make counterfeit items

Same as my previous results that I've had with this seller.
Thanks for reporting this listing to us.
I just became aware of this seller today and removed all of his active listings. There was a thread about this seller on the CU board that I was directed to.
We appreciate your help in keeping eBay a safe and reputable forum to conduct business.

18 brand new ones....reported, along with 2 other UK sellers listing similar junk plated stuff.
She deserves a raise and/or hire at least one more person to help her out with it all, she's gotta be swamped.
