Gotta love USPS and PRIORITY REGISTERED! 2 1/2 days to delivery :)

BochimanBochiman Posts: 25,790 ✭✭✭✭✭
Sent coins to our host late afternoon on 9/11. They arrived in Newport Beach @ 6:16am this morning (9/14) for a 2 1/2 day delivery time image
Priority is 2 days, but I am ok with the extra 1/2 day for registered.....or, it actually was 2 days since the first day was a wash since I delivered it so late (after 3:30pm to the local PO)

Ah....love those guys!

(yes...I know that priority has nothing to do with the speed of registered mail....just having fun and showing where the USPS DOES do things well and doesn't always screw up and isn't consistently slow. It also helps that I do have a good branch with good folks, live close to a major city, but not in the major city, and am only a few states away).

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I have been self-employed for 26 years and use the USPS to receive and to send tax returns and other items.
I have had a good run with no problems for quite a while.image

I had a claim once. It was before I joined the forum so never got a chance to rant and rave about it then.image

I think "nice" threads aren't as fun as "rant" threads.

Now to see how quickly it gets entered into the PCGS system...I'm thinking Tuesday.

I suspect they sent it regular Prio mail and forgot it was Registered and needed to be signed and secured every step of the way. image

Sometimes it does. I always get priority packages from MCM in two days. Twice I got registered priority from them and both arrived in two days as well. They sent priority express 2day twice in the last week and both arrived overnight. If I did not have to sign for it I would think they threw it out the window as the plane flew by.image

That's more like it. OP is a uninformed, fed gubermint cheerleader. OP is wrongly protecting people who leech off us taxpayers. When he grows up, hopefully he gets wise.

From most, I would think that was tongue in cheek humor. For you, I think it is your honest opinion.

    Truly sad.

......and, PCGS has already entered the 2 submissions into the system!

Now to see if everything when quickly just to tease me before a long grading process; or if that will go as well and quickly image
