take a look at these Ebay auctions: 281159945507, 161097644537, 251330358788, 111156743759, 111156705953
Different sellers, different cities, different fakes, but all the same scam (and seller, too, I suspect).

Hello Bob,
Thanks for reporting these listings to us.
I have sent your report to the Coin Community Watch group for their review. Some are counterfeit. I am also investigating the accounts. It sounds like more Chinese mischief.
Again, thank you for your report. We appreciate your help in keeping eBay a safe and reputable forum to conduct business.
Sincerely,

Humor me. Judith is just a pseudonym for anyone working in the department that monitors reports in the U.S. Coins category of eBay. Otherwise, it would seem that Judith works 24/7/365.

I'm glad that ebay has come around to using input from folks who know and care about coins, to weed out some of the fraudsters!

Bob, I think that you just officially got deputized. Great work! Maybe they should give you some eBay bucks for all of your efforts...
not been implemented.
I'm patiently waiting for my 10K in free ebay bucks!

We've pointed out fake listings with coins the seller does not own & are "selling" to simply rake in $$ from the unsuspecting.
We're working for free and we've saved them at least 6 figures.
I would like a little something over higher fees.

Love it when I get these notices!
MS Morisine: great point! But, I don't mind working for free just to help the hobby.

+1.
i do it for 2 main reasons.
1. to protect possible buyers.
2. to prevent those from getting any more $ than they do.
one of the best ways to stop something/someone, hit em in their pocketbook.
MsMorrisine, do you ever NOT have something to complain about?

i've had several communications back n forth with the illustrious "Judith" from the RE: BN%P10072 Selling Coins messages.
my main fault with these is not noticing they were communicating back with me sooner that i did.
the first time i noticed they were responding made me quite pleased to know there was give/take.
