so I searched a $1000 bag of 90%...

It was an entertaining experience; something I've always wanted to do. I was curious what I'd find so I kept notes. Here's the breakdown of what I got:

1. Dirty hands
2. Many hours of fun over a few days of looking
3. 6 Barber dimes (all with readable dates)
4. 428 Mercury dimes (including a BU 1943 that I grade MS63 and I pulled out)
5. 1,970 Roosevelt dimes
6. 2 Barber quarters (a 1912-P, and one of the most impressive slicks I've ever seen)
7. 71 Standing Liberty quarters (about 2/3 date-identifiable)
8. 1,676 Washington quarters (a couple of D/D and DDR possibilities that I need to photograph, along with what looks like a 1934 weak motto variety)
9. 4 Barber halves (all with readable dates)
10. 279 Walking Liberty halves (best find was a '17-D reverse in Good-04)
11. 188 Franklins (including a circ. 1962 proof)
12. 91 1964-P Kennedies
13. 83 1964-D Kennedies

Total remaining face value is now $1,000.15 so there's apparently an extra quarter in there. I'm pretty sure I counted right, so I'm not going to do a re-count. image
When in doubt, don't.

One summer I searched about $200,000 FV in 90%. There's still a lot of cool stuff to be found!

    200k

Jesus , that would take a lot of time

A buddy bought 2 bags from apmex earlier this year and got a 21 merc in ag, and a 16-d in fr2. I sent the 16-d in for him.
