I guess it’s now my time for a commemorative speech
First I would like thank Mr Piecesofme for the chance to participate in this exciting contest and his generosity by providing the valuable prize. Additionally I would like to thank him for his wisdom in changing the rules to honor the closest guess even against his original rules. He also promptly contacted me for instructions do deliver my prize
Secondly I’d like to thank my wife for making me a contrarian and doing almost everything opposite as she said. When the OP contacted me yesterday via PM and said “You realize that you cannot win with a guess that is + right? It's only if Spot is down at the close Friday. just a heads up” I kept my UP bet. Finally being a contrarian paid off. Also I'd like to mention my parents who tought me to stick with what I beleive and my kids who constantly remind me how hard in real world to follow it.
Thirdly I’d like to thank Mr Derryb for his invaluable advice on this forum and being a gentleman by not contesting my hard earned win as otherwise my prize money would end up in hands of his lawers.
Additionally I’d like to thank the audience for the all the support of the contest in their attempt to earn a freebee
Finally I’d like to thank Mr Silver for helping me to win this contest by sticking to his 10 day direction UP in its tireless effort to the moon $$$ that will help to make all us wealthy and bring the world peace.
