Call out to Mark "Cincyredlegs" - Help me save some money

Just checking to see if there is still going to be a big group purchase this month since Steve seems to have replenished some stock. I am getting close to pulling the trigger on 4 wax boxes that I have no business buying. Give me a reason to hold off, please. Thanks Tom

Tom, don't do it buddy. LOL.

I have been "stocking" up for the group rip.....it will be huge. We will be going "live" on Saturday 08/24 at 9:00 PM EST. I am still working out prices with Steve so as soon as I nail that down, I will publish the list. Hopefully I will be able to add a few more things. Let's just say I have a few cases for my mighty un-opened crew.

  • You should go live, right at the end of the month so my rent can be paid up and have a few bucks to spend. image

You do understand that rent helps provide a roof over the cards to prevent damage from inclement weather.

That's why credit cards were invented.

Let's not forget, you can get a vintage cardboard box straight from 1952 to live under for a mere $50K

I've got enough 88 Donruss to build a mansion of cardboard. I'll make my front door out of Alomar RC's
  • Given all the great ideas, especially the 52 Topps cardboard box, I suppose I have no excuse for participating in the upcoming rip. lol image

I'd love to know how many members are going to be under the weather come about 5 pm on the 24th. I suspect some records are in jeopardy.

I gotta introduce some of you to smart phones. Though the gf still gets a bit pissy if I'm watching eBay while we're eating dinner.

This softens the blow of losing a buy on a 61 set today with about 40 extra high numbers. I know what that money is going to now!

    Appreciate today-
