Home Metal Detecting

I went to a park that I have hunted for years and years today...

I wanted to give the "all metal" mode a shot in this park. It gives the deepest detection. It does require more work, because of the multitude of junk you tend to pick up. Well there was a LOT of junk, but one pleasant surprise, a 1916-D Wheatie! It is amazing that this park, Hanover Park, still has goodies to release...
Not in the best of shape, most coins come out pretty nice in this park, but this one is in rough shape.

    Hanover, I presume?

    Or Halifax?

Thought it was a '14-D at first glimpse. image

WTG. I always knew there were untapped deep goodies to be had in some of our signature Squares.

I knew this because I've found a few smatterings of silver and a Buff nick or two out of Hanover, even after YOU hunting it for years.

And when I occasionally find something that YOU missed, I know I must be doing something right.
