PLEASE HELP - Someone trying to ruin my reputation.

I purchased a lot of autographed '64s from one of our board members. I sent a few in to PSA/DNA (probably won't get the results until mid-September) and recently put most of them on eBay. They are mostly $5.00 cards.
I received a PM from a member here telling me that a guy using the name MEGABERRY started a thread on Sportscollectors.net saying I am a BAD seller and people should stay away from my items. He then sends me a message thru eBay (he uses the same name there) telling me that ALL of my 64's are NO GOOD and that he told eBay to take them down.
In particular, he makes a wise-azz comment on Sportscollectors.net. One of the cards is Bob Rodgers. He says the name is signed ROGERS and maybe it's Roy's brother (his sense of humor). I admit that it's tough to tell, so I took out my loupe and looked. There IS a "d" in the signature. The upward slant is thin and it runs into the "g" but it is there.
If this guy had a problem he should have confronted me first.
My reputation, not only as a card seller but in life in general, is HUGE to me. It has taken me 55 years to build it to where it is now ... I don't need somebody ruining it without knowing what they are talking about.
Sorry for the long winded thread, but I would appreciate some of you Sportscollectors.net members to respond to this guys thread. If you know him, I'd appreciate you asking him why he did what he did before speaking with me.
I have sent him messages thru eBay and am awaiting his reponse.
THANKS GUYS!

I've got your back over there, just posted this in his thread:
"Doug is an upstanding guy. If he was to accidently sell a fake autograph, there is no question in my mind whatsoever that he'd take care of it. I've dealt with Doug for years and NEVER an issue, and those of you that know me on here, know what kind of items I buy, not junk.
For those that choose to put him on a bad sellers list, it's your loss, and not his.
I do know one particular thread starter that has now moved to my personal "don't deal with" list due to their jump to conclusion exuberance.
Mike"
"I have dealt with Doug on the PSA message boards for years and he is definitely an honest guy and great seller. Nothing but good experiences here ... Probably have bought/sold with him 10+ times over the last 5 years."
I never dealt with this guy in my life! He's out to "save the world" from forgeries. I actually agree with what he is trying to do, but NOT the way he did it. For goodness sake, contact me first and talk to me about it before you ruin my reputation.

I'm not a registered user on that forum. All my dealings with you have been top notch and you have proven several times over to be an honest dealer and a gentleman.
If it helps to try and register I over there to post this let me know.

Nevermind...I found the thread...I have your back, Doug

<< <i>I'm not a member of that message board, Doug, but will say for the record that Doug is as rock solid and as reputable a collector as anyone I know. >>
I no longer participate on this board but I do occassionally check in just to view the state of the hobby. However in this case I felt it incumbent upon me to chime in and state that I will concur with every word Tim wrote regarding Doug. Doug possesses a deep passion for this great hobby and always conducts himself with the highest level of integrity!!
...now I'll disappear once again.

I echo these sentiments as well, except for the disappearing part. You will not find a better guy in the hobby than Doug!!!

Doing well out here in beautiful Eugene, Oregon. Eating healthy, exercising often and stacking junk silver Walkers & Mercs when my meager paycheck allows. I must admit my eyes were immediately attracted to those great looking '75 racks on ebay but I'm going to stick to my guns and just let you guys fight over them. Josey Wales has retired his guns...........................for now!!

Glad to hear that all is good. Sounds like you are adjusting very well. Enjoy yourself.

Hate it when people jump the gun on things like this. Any issues, 1st thing to do is contact the seller, not jump on a message board and bash them.
I hope this works out well for you. Your reputation as as good as anyone on here.

<< <i>Doug, I just noticed that auto of the Mick I bought from you says Mickey Mantel. Should I be concerned??? >>
Hey, I told you Mick and I were out drinking together that night ... one too many and you are lucky he used an "M" when he signed!

Since I am no longer an SCN member, can anyone tell me if that thread was busy today? Since I am not a member, even if you post a LINK I cannot see it.

Don, please don't be a stranger.
Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's
Lots of views and all high regards
No edit as of now, but I think Colonel Rube slammed
the door on that clown!
to me. I put a post up asking if a particular Willie Mays autographed ball was a good deal for a friend, and Doug came back offering me a better Mays ball of his at a lower price. I knew he
was taking a hit on it but he knew me and trusted my appreciation for the gesture. He also asked me about how my family was and strangely enough I was dealing with my father's second
stroke in six months, so things were busy for sure. Every single PM Doug wrote to me when we were in conversation ended with, "how is your dad doing?". That right there is a stand up
guy in my book with "class" for a middle name. So I will say this to you Doug, all of us stand much taller behind you on this than any other fool standing alone looking to make waves in your
life. Thank you for being a friend here and good luck to you. "The other" Doug
Just like the old Proverb "Bad news travels fast", take a look at this:
The other day I listed another 26 1964 autographed cards (each for BIN of $4.99) on eBay, including this now INFAMOUS RODGERS card. The card with the second most views, Gus Triandos, has SIX views. Guess how many the RODGERS card has? One short of TWO HUNDRED!!!!!!
