With Even Dealers Getting Taken...

Why would anyone purchase bullion from a source that isn't reputable?

Someone was recently in the office and in conversation told me that his neighbor is getting really good deals on silver rounds at gun shows and other (non-numismatic) shows. He said that his neighbor is picking up silver for sometimes as little as $5 under spot per ounce.

Why doesn't it occur to people that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is? image

  • Everyone thinks there a bargain/sale out there. There are sales on retail clothes electronic etc all the time. The novice sees the same for PM's, just another item for sale. Some people pay retail while others, like them, get the bargains.... like 20% off retail.

They just don't understand the difference between manufactured goods and PM's.

I don't want no cheap silver.

People that spend their hard earned money on things they don't know about are asking for trouble and shouldn't be surprise when it comes time to sell.

  • There are times where premium = peace of mind. Actually as any stacker knows its an ounces game and long term commitment. Those looking to get the quick score by "getting one over on the stupid seller" just may end up getting taken. Pay to play and let the dealers get the wholesale deals is what I have to say on the subject. image
