It's been awhile.. Update

Hello forum friends

Here's my update on random business and PM's:

Industrial Supplier Business is holding to 2012 numbers. Don't think we'll see 1.9% growth.
Employees pay higher taxes.
Housing Painting contractors still very slow
RV industry solid
Gas Prices down a little here in NW Indiana, but Chicago has the highest in the nation. All because of taxes on gas.
Local Gold store, some inventory but not like 2 years ago.
Buying at these prices. I like to stack on the up swing. "Never catch a falling knife"
Haven't taken the plunge into PM stocks! May sell Apple and go all in.
People I know buying lakefront property, farm land, stocks, no bonds. It's all over the board.

And finally, I celebrated my 60th year! Got to throw out the First Pitch at the Railcat game. Semipro team. It was a fast ball, a little low and away but to the catcher! NICE

Gas went up today locally from 3.62 to 3.94 though...why? I have no idea.

I just paid $3.64 for regular.
Called a house painter in my area and he's booked through August. He and his crews are all driving
new Chevy pickup trucks, so his business is booming.
Had to buy a new battery for the car and had sticker shock! $100 for the cheapest 3 year battery.
I buy one ever other year as the heat here in Las Vegas just kills them. Not worth spending more.
My house price has gone from $115,000 to $200,000 in past two years....crazy nuts. Not enough
inventory on the market to satisfy buyers. Seller's market here.
Had rain last week for first time this year, got 1/4 inch here at the house.
Spent my eBay bucks on one ASE, nothing like free silver!

Celebrating 67 years in a few days, dang it goes by quick!!

    Be well friends,

    Hi,
Still under $3.50 in southern New Jersey (east NJ).
60 this year for me as well, assuming I make it to that day. However, I am using the normal 'logrithmic' scale. Today feels 10 times older than yesterday already..

I had to learn to understand the 'buying on the upscale -don't catch the falling knife thing' pattern, but I don't think its the only method or foolproof and a personal method of many.
Because - One may wait till$18.50 say for silver and buy on the upswing trend, only to find by years end it went to $11 dollars........ Recent activity shows this ..
