1815, a great year!

Post your 1815 dated coins!

I think 1815 is one of the most interesting years for numismatics, not because there were a lot of coins produced, quite the opposite. There are only a few denominations produced due to a fire in the mint. The quarter is the most abundant of these. As a date US 1815 coins are very rare.

It's only a two year mint set! For those of you in the registry set game I think there is only one active PCGS 1815 Mint Set out there.

One of the bust quarters' tougher dates and decent ones in collector grades are always in demand.
I sold this one to a fellow forum member here 4 years ago. I just did a search for his name and apparently he's no longer a member so I'll post the photos.
