That is OK bolivarshagnasty.....the important thing is that you like them..... congratulations on the cross....if I recall (unless that was someone else) there was a lot of discussion predicting PCI would not cross.... glad they did. Cheers, RickO
Congratulations on the PCI's Trueviews look great and love how coinfacts has developed into having some very beautifully toned ASE's
Both below are MS69
This one is interesting, the coin did look exactley as the trueview shows and since then has toned more intense and changed into The second image( my not so perfect image)
Here is a proof, I purchased the coin already slabbed but it appears to me to have the look of toning in a PCI holder.
I was going to start a thread about the DMPL characteristics of the newly released enhanced unc eagles, didn't want to clog the forums. IMO these are as reflective as a proof. One of them has flat satiny fields, the other 4 are DMPL. I can clearly read text from nearly 12" away. Anyone else experience this?
That 94 didn't tone in a PCI holder at least IMO. I have some with similar toning, just from being inside an manila envelope. Other people would like to by toners ya know, geezzzzz
Despite being a collector of Old circulated stuff, I do dig toned ASE's ! Local dealer here had a big stack of PCI toners that he was selling for $5 over spot awhile back...me and another member here bought em all in a wink of an eye
I only kept one, I'll post it later....like Morgansforever, it'll stay in its PCI holder.
I forget to mention those velvet ASE cases can tone a coin nicely, or so so. Your images are just fine.
EDIT: Velvet case toner. About 3 years in this environment, only the obverse has toned on this burnished ASE. The reverse is white, not even a hint of tone. I have others in the same cases that haven't toned at all.
<< <i>I offer no apology... Nor should you. Stef, Great looking proofs. Where are you storing the one that's continuing to tone in the PCGS holder? A couple more for the weekend crowd.
I sold the coin to a member and then a year later I bought it back, so into the same safe it went. When I received the coin from the member it still looked the same. Six months later I was looking through the safe and thought I found one that I forgot about and then realized it changed toning.
Comments
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
I prefer to keep mine in the PCI holders, JMO.

EDIT: Did you purchase those ANACS proofs of Ebay? If you did, I don't know how I missed them, good for you.
<< <i>Like the proofs Steph. Those Ol' ANACS holders sure can do justice to a coin. >>
Yeah.....I can't wait for the 1993 Proof
I think that is one of the more expensive year for proofs
