Beautiful rice. Who scored the 10 a few months ago from a pack bust? This one looks very similar.

    Nicely done.

    Thanks,

Yanksfan, congratulations on a great pull. Hard to tell about the surface and corners from your scan, but that centering is about perfect. Are you subbing it?

There are two small printing dots on it but thats all. The corners and edges look nice. Hopefully it will grade high.

I got my packs today, 2 1986 topps and 2 1993 SPs. Busted them all and got nothing worth talking about. The 2 Topps packs actually had the same sequence for the back half of the pack. Too bad they both weren't the Jerry Rice or Steve Young sequence.

    There is always next time.

It looks like this box has already proven to have one duplicate pack. Why not a duplicate of the rice pack?

Got mine. An '86 pack with a Winslow, SP with a Manny and a '78 OPC with Mr. Steve Carlton on top. He's staying unopened. Very nice indeed.

I'd do the 86. The Steve Young is a tougher grade than the Rice.

My 2 86s yielded a nice Kozar but not much else.

The Young looks very good. A slight tilt, but very good overall.

    Thanks,

Back from a week long business trip. Tore through my 2 78 OPC packs and 2 81 Topps packs. The best '81 card was Keith Hernandez (reminded me of the Seinfeld episode. Elaine: "Who does this guy think he is?"; Keith: "I'm Keith Hernandez"). The OPC packs yielded a Yaz and a Brooks Robinson record breaker.

Thanks for doing the group rip, Todd. I know it's a lot of work.

I received my packs yesterday. Thanks Todd for doing this. I am keeping them sealed for now as I got 4 86 football packs and Rice and Young have been claimed. The cards seem to have great centering and would upgrade my set when I do rip them.

The Pony Express finally delivered my packs today and it was worth the wait. Keeping the 78 opc wax sealed for now, but the '81 Topps wax packs yielded some very sharp cards with nice centering for this issue, including a beautiful Yaz. Not real familiar with '81 Topps and was wondering if David (ldferg) or Smokie could chime in here if I have any winners here worth subbing..

Received my package today as well. One of my 1978 Tom Salem packs had Willie Mc staring me in the face on back, so in the stash it goes. Best card out of the remaining three was another McCovey, along with my favorite card from the set...............Len Randle. I'd still like to know if he was picked off first.

Excellent job by Todd in all facets!
