6-22-15 - more will be added. hopefully a full us type set
most if not all images pre-overlay images originate from heritage. (if you see your image(s) listed below and would like credit for the originals, let me know and credit will be given to you)
if the thread starts to load too slow, i may go to links only - NEVERMIND - resized all images to insanely small size in k.b..
rotation, off-center and multi-clashing may variate the position and look of clashing.
also clashing should not be confused with multi-strikes aka double-struck.
***disclosure. most, if not all of these image are from heritage or coin facts. i have too many tens of thousands to keep track, so if you see your image here and can prove it, and would like credit, let me know. i did make all of the overlays listed in this thread.

Loaded pretty good here.
On the 88 Lincoln, I can see why the "Y" in Liberty is a very strong clash on many cents.
Can you do a Bison Please?
Nice Work...!

ty. she seems to remind me of the portly, amply busted and beautiful long-haired women we each have inside of us.

I hope you don't mind me showing the forum just how useful your overlays are.
I have had a bison error for 8 years with what I thought was a clash or a die polish mark and your overlay CONFIRMED that it is indeed a die clash error.
Thank you very much, your awesome.
When can we expect all the Darkside images?

edited to add: i see now you were being ironic.
too much brain power went into doing these that none was left over for humor. i now must question the worthiness of doing them if they are going to cost me the ability to see irony/humor.

Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
<< <i>Lance,
is the 1796 10c JR-1 with cud on obv an example of clashing?
Great photographic work, really really excellent work, thanks for taking the time with this project! >>
yes. there are a couple that look like cracks but are clashing, although i think sometimes cracks can develop right at clashing lines.
the lines at the date, below LIBERTY, in front of the profile are all from clashing lines.
i actually recall why i have this overlay. in a thread a while back, there was a fair amount of posts about the lines around the edges being "die file lines aka mmam mint made adjustment marks" or whether they were some types of flan striations and i think the conclusion we came to is that the flan(s) were adjusted sometimes before the striking resulting in much more subdued marks since the striking process would have flattened and/or filled them in a bit. heck, while we are at it maybe it happened before AND after sometimes.

1. these are not my original coin images. i just used them for the overlays and they were obtained from various sources.
2. i have recently come across a method of image editing that allows for super-small size (in kb/mb) but with large size (in dimensions ie:1000x1000) while maintaining high-quality. kind of counter-intuitive to me it seems.
so those with bandwidth, ram, time etc restrictions, this is for you!!!!!!
check the size of dimensions/quality vs size (kb) and be astonished. it completely rocked my world and although it will be extremely labor intensive and time consuming, i will be redoing all of my hosted images.
all but 3 or so images are under 100kb, most are way under but are 630x630.
so usually 1000x1000 is around or under 1/4 of a mb depending on what the image contains.
i still need to fix a few. accidentally deleted a directory i was hosting a lot of images in. doh
edited to add - the majority of these images are sub-50kb, you're welcome.
