The idiot doesn't even get the initials right (as far as I know, PWCC is not trademarked).

not to mock ya, bro, but i bet that's the idea.....mislead folks into seeing something which doesn't really exist.

it's a lure. and absolutely, my question is: Is this particular method trademarked?
  • A total of zero people will fall for that.

The over/under for number of people in the world who will fall for that is 1, and I'm taking the under.

  • Nothing to see here folks. In this case, PWCC stands for "Pretty Wily Card Consignment". (IF he'd actually gotten the initals right, that is!)

    Or Professional Weasel Card Consignment.

So what does this stand for? I think the guy was caught in his own miss-truth.

    Griffey RC (PWCC)
  • scashaggyscashaggy Posts: 1,107 ✭✭✭
I think it may be a search term.

Previously, if someone typed in 'PWCC' his auctions would come up.

However he now uses 'PWWC' which is an easy typo to make and his auctions come up.

Or maybe he made a typo...I dunno.

I predict a glut of (NOT PWCC) listings in the very near future. image

At least this one I can kind of understand. You might happen upon their listings while looking for Brent's and think, hey, I could use that!

What I don't get are the idiots with their "NOT PSA" or "NOT AUTO". Like if I am searching for a PSA graded autographed Bo Jackson card, get tricked into looking at their GEM graded non-autographed listing, I am going to think.... yeah, sure, I will bid on that?

    Ninnies!
