1984 Fleer Update counterfeits revisited?

don't remember if I ever posted these, but here goes. These were originally printed in Middletown, Ohio about 10-15 miles from where I live.
Don't remember the production figures that were given , but they were printed 12 cards to a sheet, the sheet was roughly the size of a 132 card sheet. Here is one of the sheets:

These were good quality fakes. the story goes that a gentleman had a letter with the Fleer logo on top authorizing the printing of these cards as a promotional giveaway so the printing company that made these were unaware of what they were doing was illegal, that was until the FBI/police showed up . most the sheets were cut up and sold as single cards , I received this one when I was buying out another dealers collecton/leftovers when he was getting out the business.

Do the fakes carry the normal signs of being fake (e.g. pixilation of the black text)?

Yes, this particular group of fakes had all the tell-tale signs of counterfeits of that era. I recall particularly pixelation of the team logos on front.

What did this card use to sell for ?
