1984 Fleer Update counterfeits revisited?

don't remember if I ever posted these, but here goes. These were originally printed in Middletown, Ohio about 10-15 miles from where I live.
Don't remember the production figures that were given , but they were printed 12 cards to a sheet, the sheet was roughly the size of a 132 card sheet. Here is one of the sheets:

These were good quality fakes. the story goes that a gentleman had a letter with the Fleer logo on top authorizing the printing of these cards as a promotional giveaway so the printing company that made these were unaware of what they were doing was illegal, that was until the FBI/police showed up . most the sheets were cut up and sold as single cards , I received this one when I was buying out another dealers collecton/leftovers when he was getting out the business.
