Newbie here...have a question about PSA grading

Been here since March. Not sure if I have seen this before so I hope somone can educate me. I just bought this 1969 Topps 4in1 Dick Anderson Fred Biletnikoff SGC 6 on e-bay. My question is, if I send it to PSA for grading, will they take it out of the slab and grade it then reslab it with a PSA grade and label? Or can I take it out of the slab and send it in to PSA raw for grading? Which method would be the best? I just want it to be PSA graded.

Thanks in advance,
Doug

If your goal is to get it in a slab you can send it in either the SGC holder or raw.

On the sub form it is called a cross over if it is in another TPG's holder. Make sure you put a minimum grade of A or 1 and they will crack it out for you and you will get the card returned in a PSA slab.

Personally I have had better luck cracking out cards and giving PSA a fresh look at them without another opinion showcased.

    Agreed...crack and sub yourself

Yea, I think I'll go that route.
