    STAY HEALTHY!

    Doug

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Is the costume designed that way or did his gut just split it in half?

Doink was AWESOME at a local show he attended a few years back. What a crowd pleaser.

Police Looking Into Death of Pro-Wrestler

Plano, Tex., police are investigating the death of one of the most memorable figures in pro wrestling history.

Officers said 55-year-old Matt Osborne died at a local hospital on Friday. He was transported there after his girlfriend found him unresponsive inside their Plano, apartment.

Investigators said his death appears to be accidental.

Osborne was better known as "Doink The Clown."

He wrestled for the WCW, WWF and several other organizations. Several people posted condolences on the Matt Borne (Doink The Clown) Facebook Fan Page.

On it's website, the WWE posted the following statement :

WWE is saddened by the news that Matt Osborne, aka the original Doink the Clown, has passed away. A rugged brawler in promotions like Mid-South Wrestling and World Championship Wrestling, Osborne made a major impact in WWE under the greasepaint of a prankster named Doink — one of the most enduring personas of the early ’90s.

Our deepest condolences go out to Osborne’s family, friends and fans.

So sad that he died inside his plain ole apartment. He was a simple man.

This is an extremely tough card from the 1983 Wrestling All Stars set. I purchased numerous examples looking to find a nice one and never had a raw purchase grade higher then a PSA 7. This was the second PSA 9 to hit and I purchased it with a few other high grade cards from the set.

One of the more interesting purchases I have made in quite some time was the 1992 WCW Topps UK sets. I am going to send in a full set of 66 in to be graded at some point in the near future. Matt Borne appears twice in this set as Big Josh. Here are the best of each I have that will be sent in for grading.

    two thoughts:

These guys are worse than porn stars, changing names throughout their careers

And with a face like that, it's shocking that this guy chose to put on clown makeup
