How I feel about my addiction... what a Ride!

Being still a relative newbie, coming in about about $28 a year and half ago, I felt a little exposed with the price accelerating so rapidly, knowing that it could indeed drop significantly, but not wanting to really think about it since silver had now gotten into my veins. I bought a lot on the way up and lot more on the way down too that made me feel good.

As it was dropping again and again ($26, 25, 24...), I felt a bit like floating in the water up to my neck 'along with the minority that bought as the price was higher.' I have a really good life jacket on, but my head is still very low in the water because I'm holding a big bag of heavy silver (tied around my wrist). And so are the few others in this minority around me. We were still hanging on though. .. ..

Now with the price dropping further and further, I look around and I see a Whole Lot more people in the water alongside me. I look up at the ship along side me and see the name' Titanic.' Many more are putting life jackets on, and jumping in the water with their bags of stuff. Still, my addiction tells me, this is really a great time to buy yet more silver cheap from the others in the water. I could likely carry 2 bags of silver, tied to my wrists, without going completely underwater. OMG, I could even sell my life jacket to buy yet a third bag of silver.

What a deal of a life time, with spot this low, eh! .... I mean, its just a matter of a time before we are all rescued, right?

( I can hear two people in the water next to me talking. One says 'where are the rest of the life boats?' The other answered, 'they are all full with the folks that bought below $10.' )

If people could 100% predict the market we'd all be millionaires. As it stands we go with the flow and make our best guess. I've always seen metals as a long-term investment. If you were looking to exit in the next 2-5 years it might be troubling but if you're in it for the long haul you just buy the lows and keep stacking. Unless we see $40+ silver I don't plan on selling. Whether that takes five years or thirty years is of no real matter for me. image

Patience and moderation. Don't blow your wad all at once because you won't have any capital left over for the next valley of opportunity.
