    Me didn't either. In at $27 from that. I think I'll just wait till gold drops a bit and pick up smoe a that and a little argentum from the same place.

    This deal is cheaper than their own 1oz coins. I know its a special but is this a sign that
    the eagle premium is going back to a more reasonable percentage?

    As mentioned in another thread, wait until they have one of their 99 cents over spot sales. I'd guess that the market is oversupplied right now.

    No- I think it's a sign that APMEX is very bearish on silver, and by offering this deal, they're trying to rid themselves of losses they expect to incur very soon. The "one day only" deal is a ploy for the public to buy as much as possible. If you choose not to buy today, fear not: there will be more "one day only" specials coming up.

    I don't think it means that APMEX is bearish, they hedge all of their purchases and sales. It is just a way to increase volume during the typically slow summer months. In the bullion industry, volume is key. If their order sizes decrease, their already small margins get even smaller.
