Graph poppage today, 6 for 6 on some good names, Cobb, Thorpe, Edison, Mantle, Jackie Robinson, Hodg

Went up to Beckett today (yes, I know this is PSA-ville, but they only come to my area very infrequently, and when they do, they don't bring their slabbing equipment) to visit with James Spence and to get a few graphs authenticated. Always a fun experience and even more enjoyable when I get a 1000 batting average. I think my last 4 visits I'm shooting 100%. Not a bad score for the fickle game of autograph authentication.

First up, the legendary Georgia Peach. I had bought a Cobb newspaper/magazine signed photo and had Knuckles make me a custom cut

Thomas Alva Edison, truly a person that changed the world. Great postcard photo of him with a stunning younger image of the famed American inventor.

This piece is kinda cool. Signed page from an autograph album. The front has a quartet of some of the greatest athletes/coach of the early 1900's. Ty Cobb, Jack Dempsey, the legendary Jim Thorpe, and Glenn (better known as "Pop") Warner. The back has a collection of early golf greats.

On these next 3, the slabs are so big they won't fit on my scanner as the signed magazine photos are all pretty big. The scanner doesn't do these justice. They are not all cut funky like it appears to show, they are relatively rectangular in person and sigs are all fairly nice. I thought they were really neat and loved the fact that the Mantle has a vintage 1952ish,53ish signature. The best of this grouping though is Jackie Robinson. Beautiful early signature.
