Starting Lineup Basketball Dream Team home made display

Just found another of my Home Made Displays from the early 1990's.
I put this one together using the stating line up figures and cards. Made
the Wooden base, Cardholder Posts, Basketball Hoop and Backboard,
even tied the net from some heavy string. Also added Red, White & Blue
lights sadly they do not glow as bright as I would like. However now with
the new technology for LED lights I should be able to replace them and
get a better result.

Anyway not much to do at the moment so thought I would post some
Pictures

Also I seem to be posting a lot of my home made displays so I will add some links
(at bottom of this post) to two other posts here that show some of my other displays

That's awesome. I always liked that set. I've been meaning to pick one up on eBay but never got around to it.

Thanks guys, your comments are much appreciated

Just recently refound this, it was in a locked footlocker under my panel card display case (links & pictures at end of first post)
old age must be getting to me as I had Completely Forgotten about it until I opened the footlocker image

I was thinking of picking this up (on ebay now) to hang over the top.

Also looks like there is just enough space at the bottom between the lighted pillers to stencil "1992 OLYMPICS"
but that may be to much May have to photoshop it first to see what it would look like

Great work. Some serious thought went into that to get it just perfect. I spend countless hours reworking displays and appreciate how hard it is to put together a layout like this. You nailed it.

nice display, my son has his lineups and mcfarlanes scattered all over his bedroom, on the dresser, on the floor, in the bookcase, maybe when he's home this summer from college he'll clean it up....lol

I didn't see Drexler or Laettner. Any thought of making custom figures/cards for them?
