Can someone give me an approximate value of these Original Hobo Nickels

A local dealer loaned these two hobo nickels to me to help figure out a value. They are both original (contemporary) but I'm not sure about value. Any help?

Thanks in advance.

Any idea who made them? Bert and Bo used to sign their work. I don't see that here. Obscure carvers are usually far less valuable than examples signed by those two.

I can't answer your original question, but these little works of art are Beautiful! Most people would not agree, just as the "acid treated" buffs. Both are in a way, defacing the coins. but just like the "hobo's", the acid treated ones, esp.the 1913s Typ.2's are just as beautiful.Acid treated sure but still a rare buffalo in the series! My 2 cents.

I had one similar to your top example, that I traded to a Buff nickel dealer/specialist at FUN a few years ago.
He gave me $50 credit towards a nice VF 26S I was purchasing for my set, that he'd already discounted to GS Bid.
Since I had found it in a circ buff nickel roll, I was only into it for a quarter, so that seemed pretty fair to me.

As contemporary art, they do not have near the value of the originals... but if you go to the Hobo Nickel site, you can get pricing information from the one's available there. Cheers, RickO
