Scratch on reverse is on the holder.
It's in a problem-free PCGS holder.

When in doubt, don't.

Hoard the keys.
It's in a problem-free PCGS holder.
The holder may be problem free, but what about the coin?

I personally grade this as a VF30 shot-35. (If anyone has Morgans in VF20 that look like this, please let me know!) In addition to being amazingly undergraded, I am fascinated to see if what looks like a die crack between the S and Liberty's cap really is a crack. If it is, I think it will be a new VAM discovery.
That was my first thought. It really detracts from the coin, IMHO.
a very disappointing grade on several levels
-details
-originality
-and just the natural look of what one should look for in a higher end vf coin

I agree with you.

I don't think so at all. In fact, I should be so fortunate to find more circulated coins that are this natural, original and attractive.
Rev looks like a 20 and Obv looks 30 to me.
I thought she would have gone a little higher also.
I guess it's a crapshoot in this range sometimes.
Interesting coin though, thanks for posting it.
