Top 10 things people will always complain about on the forum

Not necessarily in this order and please feel free to add any I have missed:

1. PCGS (this was the old days, for some reason most of these posters are gone but it was fun while it lasted)
2. Ebay
3. Coin dealers (again the old days, half the posters are dealers now and the other half are petrified to piss them off)
4. The premium paid for toned coins
5. Suspected artificial toning/coin doctors
6. Ebay
7. Enhanced/altered images
8. Unmerited upgrades
9. Coin buyers (apparently they are causing many dealers to drink)
10. Modern coins

    1) Taxes... someone always complainin' about them
    2) Whiners... they make me whine
    3) Stickers... people seldom look at the coin anymore
    4) Labels... First strike, early release... they are just trigger points for whiners who hate moderns
    5) eBay sellers .... always someone complaining about someone
    5) BST deals gone bad
    6) Grades
    7) Price... isn't that always a complaint (we can't get it cheap enough)
    8) eBay buyers... aren't they problematic ?
    9) Rules ... rules stink ! lol

    Don't forget the classic: "why hasn't my package been received/delivered because I've been hitting refresh on the tracking number every 10 seconds so surely the PO has screwed me again" .... Or the old favorite: "I'm just not sure what type of feedback to leave so I'd like to discuss in excruciating detail the minutiae of this $25 transaction and take a poll about it too" ..... Oh there are so many greatest hits to love!

    1. Complaining about something that if they read the thread correctly would realize their complaint has no validity or point.

    2. Forum software, even though it seems to work just fine.

    Counterfeit coins will spell the end of the hobby.
    Counterfeit holders will spell the end of the hobby.
    Electronic transactions will spell the end of the hobby.
    Lack of young collectors will spell the end of the hobby.
    Too many offerings from an out-of-control US Mint will spell the end of the hobby.
    Coin doctors will spell the end of the hobby.
    Runaway inflation will spell the end of the hobby.
    There are no good coins to be bought (everything is dreck).

    The coins I want sure seem expensive for a hobby that has been collapsing on itself for a long time.

    Did I miss any?

    Don't forget "my coin got gennied for nor good reason" (or, "too low of a grade").

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    Lots more than ten.... seems most posts (I have not done the analysis, just gut feel) are complaining about something. Cheers, RickO

    Make it top ten things for whining on any topic and the same result will appear:


    1-10: Things I have no control over.


    As a side, people complaining/whining in a room that is empty of others has shown to be of no value for emotional relief.
    Now riding the swell in PM's and surf.

    There's always going to be someone saying how foolish it is to pay extra for certified coins, or paying to get raw coins certified.
    When in doubt, don't.

    14. Bad deals
    15. Not getting what they paid for on ebay.

    18. The post office losing another package
    19. Rolls from a self - roller being sold as original bank wrapped rolls
