Key date clipped Lincoln on the 'bay - looks odd to me

seanqseanq Posts: 8,733 ✭✭✭✭✭
I noticed this auction for a 1931-S Lincoln cent with a ragged clip. While the error looks completely genuine, I have doubts about the coin itself. Maybe it's just been a while since I looked at one, but the date looks all wrong to me.

EDIT The problem is apparently all in my head, I took a breath and compared it to other auctions and the coin looks completely genuine.
