hill dump digging 5-18-13

got a tip from a guy about a dump way out in the hills. got a few 1890's bottles, but everything else was 1920's-40's. still fun. this place is massive, will need to sift it.

    well it appears to be a huge firepit. there was a recently burned log in it. i thought it very strange to see this as we walked up the hill. this area has old rock walls and i suspect possible an older dump somewhere. the spot we did had stuff laying on top everywhere. heard rumor there may have been a bar there, but i'm thinking a campground instead.

    nice mix of finds Demo. Any other coins besides the buffalo?

    Is that car bottle an Avon piece?

    I broke out some Shock Top this weekend too, haha!

    Please explain the finds in the pics.

    That car bottle looks complete from the pic even the cap other than a chip on the cap (can't tell if it was in a few pieces?), you found that with the cap?

    Sounds like a fun spot to hunt!

    Unfortunately your first photo is red-X for me at the moment, but the other two work fine.

    What's that concrete barrier thing?

    car bottle looks to be a candy container,,nice , fire truck right?
