However, I am tossing around the idea of going to the Whitman show in Philadelphia late this summer.
That would be about a 175 mile trip.

but I did fly half way round the world and went to a coin and currency store once.
I went to a Singapore coin and currency store in 1999. It was interesting, but not as much history to their stuff as we have here.

I no longer venture to the smaller local shows as I usually spin through them faster then it took me to tie my shoes to leave the house.
In the future, with some planning I'm likley to make it to larger shows. Almost the same effort to get to smaller club shows.
