    haven't found one in who knows how long, but I do remember that the last was a 44s!

    Back in the 60s you could slide the nickels out of a roll and tell the buffaloes by how rounded the edges were and the war nickels by that weird grey green. They were everywhere

    One of the things I particularly like about coin collecting is that the costs of collecting can range from pocket change to far more than I could ever afford for a given coin. Right now in the cheap thrills area I'm enjoying collecting raw toned BU silver Washingtons and the cost is anywhere from about $3 to $50 a coin.

    Collecting from change is fun and can be quite pleasurable when a find is made....wheaties, IHC's, war nickels, silver......not as common as it was even twenty years ago, maybe that is why it is so exciting now.... Cheers, RickO
