solid silver spoon

been a long time here. been doing alot of masonry work in my backyard lately. anyway a demo occured in a very old part of town. surprisingly, no coins. this spoon is stamped 925. also dug a grapeshot or a walnut sized cannonball. also added 2 friends getting warmed up for the dig.

did it ring up as silver? it looks like the old "coin silver" spoons, but looks like it has a little more weight to it. Sterling flatware is still on my want list!

    Lotsa nice nekkid dirt, there.

I likes me some nekkid dirt, if it's an area where there are likely to be goodies underneath it. image
