Taking the plunge....

BodinBodin Posts: 1,012 ✭✭✭

So I've been fighting the urge for a while to get a MD, but I'm going hiking this weekend and there might be some good pickings on the river beds and lake shores. I understand that this is SUCH a general question, but do you guys think I'd do ok with this as a starter?

.....or is it junk?

I've only got 2 days to decide, so I can't send off to kellyco
I'm REALLY looking forward to getting knee-deep in some creeks!

Thanks for any help

Will be fine for a 'beginner' unit...says waterproof coil...but do not, when in water, elevate the coil above waist, or water will run down into your electronics. This will be sufficient to get you thoroughly hooked on the hobby....image Cheers, RickO

not too familiar with bounty hunter, but it's better than no detector at all. I'd recommend seeing if there are any videos of it on you tube for review.
