This is the O-115. I snapped a closeup of the doubled "TY" in Liberty. Guess the grade or post your own draped bust half if you like!

This coin is a O.115 R-1. The TY are double cut and date is large and a close 8,and 1 nearly touches curl. Die crack at base of date to stars. Rev has 5 berries lower one has no stem. Star point attached to beak and lower point is buried in scroll. Right base of F is missing.
Nice pickup!!
One of my favorite u.s. designs.

Love bust dollars! Nice dollars all.
Edited to correct: Didn't catch the word "half" in the OP. haha Read the post wrong. Still love the coin. What's not to like about bust coinage.

I think that it is a fairly common variety. I have seen a number of them in my travels at the shows. I bought this one at a Grand Central (New York City) coin auction that was held by Paramount Coin Company circa 1974. I can't believe that was almost 40 yeras ago.
<< <i>Nice coins all, I love the draped bust type in all series. My favorite. I wish I had discovered they were my favorite before they went up in price so much a few years ago. >>
Yes, the Draped Bust half dollars used to be affordable. I remember selling one in Fine for $25 back in the early 1980s. When I was dealer I sold a number of nice AUs for less than $1,500.
