There are and have been so many awesome people/collectors on this board. All of the bad apples that have come and gone and are still here could never outweigh the good ones. There are dozens of guys I think would be close friends if we lived in the same area, and there are several that I have had the privilege to meet in person.
While many are HOF-worthy (and have already been mentioned), my first-ballot HOF would be comprised of guys that consistently keep themselves out of the muck and pass on nothing but encouragement, enthusiasm and good hobby knowledge. I have zero doubt that the online persona these guys portray is exactly who they are in their everyday lives.

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
I agree for everyone. I do not post a ton and kinda sit back and watch some of these disagreements. I would say bobbyw has been a big help to me. Mike and mark for doing a great job on the group rips but itzagonna always cracks me up. Dpeck for showing those awesome wrestling cards and Barry California and Abe kid4hof have been great also.
Tim and Mark would be my 1st guys in. It's obvious enough that it's boring to mention it at this point.
Not sure if anyone is with me on this guy, but I'd put Chaz in the mix. He was honest with all his contradictory opinions and provided a unique perspective. He made the board interesting even when I thought his position was way off. He was kind of an anti-troll, who would tell people the 8 they got should have been a 4. I generally didn't think he was trying to be mean for the sake of it. He just really thought it should have been a 4 and told us why.
