I was looking at the date on this thread, I had only been a member for a week when it was started, and I still think it's dumb to call modern unopened product "wax"
It bugs me when people refer to the national sports collectors convention as the "nationals" as if it is some sort of aau basketball championship. Come on people, it's a card show, not a competition.

Maybe you should check out of Dave & Buster's and actually talk to someone who has attended or worked at "The National", as that is what it has been called for however long old-timers been talking about it. Since I've attended more than once, I fondly recall my experiences at The Nationals. Plurally speaking, of course.

I think this goes without saying but it's annoying when people write "rare, buy now before they all explode" or some crap. Do sellers really think saying some lame-ass comment will really help them sell a card?
Hey Travis, get off my lawn. Everyone calls it the national. But when people add that tiny little s and make it sound like an Olympics qualifying event, it really yanks my chain.

I realize every score isn't created equal.
Give me a break already.
"Hey, if it wasn't for the bumped left corner, it would be a psa 10 HIGH END!"

Agreed.
A $100 scanner vs a phone camera is much more sufficient when trying to sell a $10k card.
