A case of buying the holder and not the card?

Comments

  • More a case of the grader giving somebody a gift. That centering is nowhere close to 55-45.
Supposedly more than one grader looks at a card, but no way two sets of eyes can miss that.
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the PSA 10 collector he didn't exist.

  • That's not even 60-40 which is the very outside a grader can go with their 5% leeway. Plus it's about $50-75 higher than I've seen other's sell for.

Looks like the bottom border is showing some chipping as well.

    Thanks,

This is the same card that got me my temporary ban months ago.
Nothing to see here. Move along....

Hmmm. Really? Banning you does not get rid of the card. lol Of course, selling it for $250 might be a good way to get rid of it.
  • What a dog of a 10 and a good reason why I don't play in the gem mint space. Too much variance in price and grading standards.

There is just something about reading those words next to a picture of Clint that makes it all too real.
  • Not aware of the history on this card, but if my posting rights go away I'll live.
  • Big surprise it is a 4sharpcorners cards. This should be investigated.

This frustrates me since I sub a lot of cards and have never received a 10 on a card with centering like that.

I actually just bought that one after reading this thread. Looked like a solid 9 to me and as good as the 10.

I thought about buying it but I have a few to sub. Hoping for a 10 but will likely get 9's.
