    Subscription needed.

But let me take a WAG:

The Govt. has shifted the Deck Chairs around, despite the fact that only 15 levels below deck, ice cold sea water is pouring through the 200ft gash in the hull?image

If you move enough deck chairs to port, you can get the lean you need to pull the gash on the starboard side out of the water thus eliminating the influx of ice cold sea water. image Spin it until they believe it!

I just registered (Free) so I could cut and paste here but the site has a disclaimer that says:

<< <i>Copyright The Financial Times Limited 2013. You may share using our article tools. [which basically makes you sign up, though they do have a free level]

Basically they are re-writing the way they calculate the economy to include things that they did not include before and they will backdate the information back to 1929.

<< <i>The US economy will officially become 3 per cent bigger in July as part of a shake-up that will see government statistics take into account 21st century components such as film royalties and spending on research and development. >>

That's it in a nut shell.

Its 100 ft long on Port, 100 ft long on starboard.

But it is unsinkable, ya know .....until it sinks...

If they'd include 'goodwill' and 'blue sky' I'd be wealthy enough to buy that mansion in foreclosure down the street.

This will only increase the gap between looking better and actually being better.
