April 14, 2013: 3 Silvers, 2 IHCs, Buffalo nickel

Got out to a park that was pretty good last year. Went back over the same areas as before and was shocked to see what was still there. Last year when I covered it, there was a dry spell, so maybe the damp soil helped bring this stuff up.
It was pretty slow overall. Sometime within the hunt an absolute screamer of a signal came up. I expected a silver quarter as it was deep and gave a nice clear signal. Turned out to be a nice silver ring. Fortunately, found the R initial next to it. Odd that there are no markings, but it cleaned up very well. No idea how it was missed last year.
Also got a ring for a defunct school. Thought it may have been white gold due to its signal, but it's looking plated, maybe even silver plated. Found some other goodies.
The War nickel is a mess - It has some nice laminations... what a dog. Overall ended with
1 plated ring
1 Sterling ring with R initial
1956 Roosie
1943-P War Nickel
Dateless Buffalo Nickel
1880 IHC, and 1881? IHC
3 Wheats
2 lead seals - one is wrapped with wire?
A clad pocket spill containing $2.15. Almost didn't dig it because the signal was so loud.
