Its a beautiful card, dead centered, the way PSA is right now, 8

I really think that it would grade a 9. great looking card.

That's almost identical quality to the PSA 9 mini that went off at PWCC the other day. Superb centering and one soft corner. Curious to where the market prices it, closer to a PSA 9 or perhaps higher because of the label.

Those white corners can be mint.

I see this with o-pee-chee cards too.

The borders have white on them, and the white can extend to the corners.

This happens with the OPC rough cut, and can happen with Topps.

Just because we see white on the corners doesn't mean there is a touch.
It can just be from the cards cut.

If you look at the borders on the Brett, there is lots of white showing all along the borders. It just extends to the corners.
  • I crack lots and lots of cards from slabs for my sets and its been my experience
that I usually get a higher quality card from the SGC slabs.

Ive never gotten a 9 from PSA on any card with the "white" showing. Im not saying I agree, but I have over 150000 beautiful 75's and have never gotten a 9 that showed any white anywhere for any reason.

I completely disagree. I have a couple registry sets and if that card was graded a PSA 9, I'd pay a premium for it.

Nice card....but I just don't see a 10 here except on the PSA label.

Well there she is JHS, your chance to get a white edged SGC 98 that wont ever see a PSA 9 holder
  • Label collectors...... Ya just gotta scratch your head and laugh.

Regardless of the label placed on it (SGC, PSA, BGS) Thats one of the nicest Brett Rookies your going to see.

The edge wear by the upper left corner and slight roundness to the lower left corner would prevent me from paying 10-money for that card. I'd pay high-end 9 money no problem because of the pristine centering.
