I just busted a set of 1989 Fleer Glossy, My grading eye blows, what do you guys think the card could grade based on the scans, thanks

The bottom right corner looks soft in the scan. How does it look in person?

Yeah, that corner looks a little bent. Also, looks like a diamond print job?

9 with no corner bend. Very hard to tell on that corner with the scan.

Might be worth subbing, but I agree, that corner looks weak.

The biggest problem with these Griffey's is the surface. A lot of them have a surface line running through it

I recall long ago having issues getting Fleer glossy cards graded due to cut issues. There may be an upward-sloping cut on that card on top, left to right. Take a regular 1989 Fleer card if you have access to one and stand it up against the Fleer for comparison.

Centering alone would probably keep it a 9.

I've had no luck with 89 Fleer Randy Johnson either.
